An Update - sort of

Thanks for all the messages, everyone. Sorry for the radio silence.  I decided to unplug for the rest of the weekend and try not to dwell.  It didn't work, but at least I had a lot of free-time to make my baby a ridiculous headband.

She must have been feeling bad for me--she left it on for at least 10 minutes.

Then I logged on this morning, and holy shit--the number of unread emails listed next to my gmail account made me think there was some kind of glitch. So many of you sent me nice messages--from fans to book bloggers offering to help, and notifications of "likes" and comments from GR. You have all just been amazing. It goes to show there really is a silver lining to everything.

As for an update, I still have no idea what's going to happen or what I'm going to do. We still haven't heard anything official yet from the Osprey people. My agent was told that the rights to Crushed would revert, but we don't have anything in writing, so we're stuck in limbo waiting for the dust to settle. We also don't know what's going to happen to Cracked. The prevailing theory is that it will be swallowed into Angry Robot, but I'm not sure what that means, and whether it will still be available in hard copy--though I guess we'll find out pretty soon, since it looks like Amazon currently has less than a dozen hard copies left. In any case, once I do know what's going to happen, I'll be sure to keep you updated.
